Mining Competition (Mucking) Team
The Mining Competition (Mucking) team is a group of students who compete in events that simulate old-world mining tasks, including “mucking” — the process of removing broken rock from a mine. In these competitions, teams use tools to test their efficiency and skill in handling and transporting ore materials. The events test their physical strength, teamwork, and technical proficiency under time constraints, reflecting the demanding nature of historic mining operations.
