The Collegiate Mine Rescue team is a dedicated group of students trained to respond to and manage emergencies in underground mining environments. The team prepares for scenarios involving hazardous conditions such as fires, explosions, and gas leaks. Through rigorous drills and simulations, they develop skills in search and rescue operations and emergency management, while adhering to strict safety protocols. Their primary mission is to provide a rapid and effective response to mine incidents, ensuring the safety of trapped miners and mitigating the impact of disasters. By participating in regional and national competitions, they also hone their expertise and contribute to the advancement of mine safety practices.
