Katie Kosloski

Katie Kosloski is a mining industry professional with more than a decade of experience working for Luck Companies. Her roles have ranged from mining engineering, to operational leadership, to capital project management and business development.

Today she works as greenfield development manager, a role in which she drives strategic growth for each of Luck Companies' business units through market analysis, site selection, design, permitting, and community engagement.

Kosloski received a Bachelor of Science degree in mining and minerals engineering from Virginia Tech in 2012. Since then she has created a track record of industry service as a board member and past chair of the Minerals Education Coalition, which promotes science education and as a member and past chair of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration: Industrial Minerals and Aggregates Division.

Kosloski loves spending time outdoors with family and friends, enjoying the water or exploring new trails. She comes from a family of many proud Hokie alums.
